(July 17, 1796 - February 22, 1875) was a French landscape painter and printmaker in etching. Corot was the leading painter of the Barbizon school of France in the mid-nineteenth century. Edouard Louis Dubufe (30 April 1820 - 11 August 1883) was a French painter. He learned the art of painting from his father, Claude Marie Dubufe. Until the 1840s, he painted primarily historical and biblical scenes, then switched to portrait painting.
